Peer Review Process

JILR operates a double‑blind peer review process. Each manuscript is reviewed by at least two independent reviewers. The initial review typically takes 2–4 weeks, and the editor makes a decision once sufficient feedback is received.

Publication Ethics

JILR follows the COPE (Committee on Publication Ethics) guidelines. All submissions are screened for academic misconduct. Any detected cases of plagiarism, data fabrication, or duplicate publication will result in immediate rejection and notification of the author's institution.

Digital Preservation

All content published in JILR is digitally preserved through the LOCKSS and CLOCKSS archival systems, ensuring long‑term access even in the event of system failure.
