Frontiers in Intelligent Medicine & Health
The inaugural issue of Frontiers in Intelligent Medicine & Health (FIMH) (Volume 1, Issue 1) is officially published in September 2026. This issue focuses on the intersection of artificial intelligence, data science, and intelligent medicine, covering cutting-edge fields including AI‑assisted diagnosis, medical imaging analysis, wearable health technologies, federated learning and medical data privacy, and digital therapeutics.
FIMH is published by StarNexus Science Press (Hong Kong) as a Diamond Open Access journal. All articles are published under the CC BY 4.0 license.
Double-Blind Review
Each manuscript is normally evaluated by 3-4 independent reviewers under a double-blind peer review process.
Editorial Independence
Decisions are based solely on scholarly merit, methodological rigor, clinical relevance, technical validity, and journal scope.
COPE Compliance
FIMH follows COPE Core Practices. Plagiarism, duplicate submission, data fabrication, and unethical clinical reporting are prohibited.

FIMH is a Gold Open Access journal. Authors retain copyright of their work, and published articles are made freely available under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0).
Peer Review Criteria
- Originality, significance, and contribution to intelligent medicine and health
- Sound methodology, data quality, algorithmic validity, and statistical analysis
- Clinical relevance, public health value, and potential practical impact
- Clarity, reproducibility, and transparency of reporting
- Ethical compliance, including consent, privacy protection, trial registration, and COI disclosure
Reviewer Responsibilities
- Maintain confidentiality of manuscripts, clinical data, figures, and supplementary materials
- Declare conflicts of interest promptly
- Provide constructive, objective, and unbiased feedback
- Evaluate methodological rigor, ethical compliance, and clinical relevance
- Do not use unpublished manuscript content for personal, research, clinical, or commercial advantage
Initial Check
Scope, format, ethics approval, consent, data availability, plagiarism, and completeness are checked by the editorial office.
Peer Review
Suitable manuscripts are sent to 3-4 independent reviewers for double-blind evaluation.
Decision
The editor issues a decision based on reviewer reports, methodological quality, ethical compliance, and clinical relevance.
