Submission Preparation Checklist
Prior to submission, authors must confirm that their manuscript meets several basic requirements: it has not been published elsewhere nor is it under review by another journal; the main file is in Microsoft Word or PDF format; for double‑blind review, all author identifiers have been removed from the main document; an abstract of 150–250 words and 4–6 keywords are included; all in‑text citations are fully matched by a complete reference list; tables and figures have clear captions; any research involving human participants or animals includes an ethics approval number or statement; and all authors have read and approved the final version of the manuscript.
Book Reviews
Aims and Scope
Book Reviews provide a scholarly evaluation of recently published books in the fields of arts, communication, digital media, and related interdisciplinary areas. They should summarise the work's main arguments, assess its contribution to the field, and identify its strengths and limitations.
Submission Requirements
- Abstract: Not required
- Keywords: Not required
- Book Details: Must include the book's full title, author(s)/editor(s), publisher, year of publication, page count, and ISBN
- References: Optional; if used, follow APA 7th Edition
Originality and Peer Review
- Book Reviews are typically commissioned by the Book Review Editor
- Unsolicited proposals are welcome but should be discussed with the editorial office before submission
