Each manuscript is normally evaluated by 3-4 independent reviewers under a double-blind peer review process.

Editorial Independence

Decisions are based solely on scholarly merit, originality, methodology, and relevance to the journal scope.

COPE Compliance

ACDM follows COPE Core Practices. Plagiarism, duplicate submission, and data fabrication are prohibited.

Open Access & Author Rights

ACDM is a Gold Open Access journal. Authors retain copyright of their work, and published articles are made freely available under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0).

• Originality, significance, and contribution to the field
• Sound methodology, evidence, and data analysis
• Clarity, structure, and presentation quality
• Relevance to arts, communication, digital media, and related fields
• Ethical compliance, including consent, permissions, and COI disclosure

• Maintain confidentiality throughout the review process
• Declare conflicts of interest promptly
• Provide constructive, objective, and unbiased feedback
• Complete reviews within the agreed timeline
• Do not use unpublished manuscript content for personal advantage

Initial Check

Scope, format, ethics, plagiarism, and completeness are checked by the editorial office.

Peer Review

Suitable manuscripts are sent to 3-4 independent reviewers for double-blind evaluation.

Decision

The editor issues a decision based on reviewer reports and editorial assessment.

ACDM does not accept honorary or nominal appointments. Every board member is an active scholar who contributes to peer review, solicitation, and journal development. Their academic identities and responsibilities are publicly disclosed and verifiable.
