Gold Open Access Model

ACDM follows the Gold Open Access model, meaning that the final published version of every peer‑reviewed article is freely accessible to all, with no embargo period. The journal does not charge readers or their institutions any subscription or access fees.

Rights for Readers

Anyone can read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to the full text of all articles published in ACDM, without any financial, legal, or technical barriers other than those inseparable from gaining access to the internet itself.

Readers may:
  • Read and download articles free of charge
  • Share and redistribute the material in any medium or format
  • Adapt, remix, transform, and build upon the material

Author Rights & CC BY 4.0 License

  • Share — copy and redistribute the material in any medium or format
  • Adapt — remix, transform, and build upon the material for any purpose, even commercially

Under the following term: Attribution — You must give appropriate credit, provide a link to the license, and indicate if changes were made. You may do so in any reasonable manner, but not in any way that suggests the licensor endorses you or your use.

Recommended attribution notice: “This article is published by ACDM under the CC BY 4.0 license. The original work can be found at [DOI link].”

Article Processing Charges (APC)

To support the costs of peer review, production, and dissemination, ACDM levies an Article Processing Charge (APC) only upon acceptance. The APC does not influence editorial decisions. Detailed APC amounts, waiver policies, and discount information are available on the APC Policy page. Authors from low‑income countries may apply for full or partial waivers.

Digital Preservation & Long‑Term Access

All content published in ACDM is digitally preserved through the LOCKSS and CLOCKSS archival systems, ensuring long‑term access even in the event of system failure. Authors are also encouraged to deposit their final published version in institutional repositories or subject‑based repositories.

Commitment to Open Science

ACDM actively supports open science principles, including transparency in research methods, data sharing, and open peer review where applicable. We encourage authors to share their data, code, and other research outputs in trusted public repositories, and to include data availability statements in their manuscripts.
